Travis Kelce Likes Sage Steele IG Post With Donald Trump

The narrative is Travis Kelce has gone full-blown liberal since he began pitching Pfizer shots and began dating Taylor Swift and had second thoughts about giving Jesus Christ his respect on Easter.

But maybe the culture war we all see waged on different fronts every day is enjoying a momentary truce and it's Kelce who is carrying the white flag.

How else to see it when you realize what Kelce recently did when he saw Instagram snaps of former ESPN anchor Sage Steele and former President Donald Trump together at the March UFC event in Miami.

Steele and Trump had a moment or two while attending the event and she shared the snaps on her IG account:

Sage Steele Meets Donald Trump

And, yes, Steele expected backlash for the set of photos because, well, Trump.

And because liberals cannot stand anyone and particularly not people of color to be seen as in any way approving of the former president who is running again.

Steele, no stranger to backlash, said in her post she expected it.

"(cue the divisive, close-minded thoughts and unfollows in 3...2...1… 😂) #diversityofthought," she wrote.

But a funny thing happened while 58,000 people liked the post.

Travis Kelce was one of them. He threw a like on it.

Travis Kelce Likes Steele-Trump Post

Yeah, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end who is dating the pop singer who endorsed Joe Biden in 2020, liked the Steele and Trump post.

He apparently liked the post almost as quickly as OutKick founder Clay Travis.

And this is where the cyber warriors on the left will scream that a like isn't, you know, really a like.

Someone will make the case it can be a dislike. Kind of like how a vaccine doesn't really have to be a vaccine. Or a woman doesn't really have to be, yeah, never mind.

People On Left Losing It

There are social media reports that Kelce has now displeased the left because it is an unrelenting taskmaster and how dare Kelce like anybody who stands on conservative principles such as Steele and Trump?

The fact is one like doesn't make anyone liberal or conservative or MAGA or socialist or whatever.

People are often nuanced. Yes, stunning concept.

But this does, nonetheless, make many people feel a certain sort of way about what they thought they knew about Travis Kelce.
