NFL's International Games Keep Pushing Jaguars Abroad For Consecutive Weeks
The NFL's International games annually export America's most popular sport to Europe and other parts of the world as part of the league's strategy to increase its reach and eventually, someday, expand into foreign markets.
And in announcing its 2024 series of five international games, the NFL for the second season in a row is pushing one team as its most prolific export.
Jaguars NFL's International Team
The Jacksonville Jaguars.
Or, increasingly, the London Jaguars.
The Jaguars, who play in one of the league's smallest markets, will play not one, but two games in one of Europe's largest cities for the second consecutive year.
The Jaguars will face the Chicago Bears on Oct. 13 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Then, after staying the week in London, they'll "host" the New England Patriots at Wembley Stadium, where they have a contract to play annually, on Oct. 20.
The Jaguars will have played four games in London in two seasons and 13 games regular-season games in London in franchise history.
The NFL used to play a 14-game schedule in the 1970s. By the end of this season, Jacksonville will have basically played nearly one whole season abroad, going by the latter day 14-game schedule.
The London Jaguars.
The NFL on Wednesday morning announced its full slate of international games that will be played across London, U.K., Munich, Germany and São Paulo, Brazil — as the league's global footprint continues to expand.

So four NFL games back-to-back in one day if you can stand it.
