Video of Oklahoma's Joe Mixon Punching a Female Student

I knew it was going to be bad, but it was even worse than I anticipated. I don't care what this girl, a fellow student at Oklahoma, said to him or care that she made contact with him first. She was in no way a threat to a fully grown football player.

Here's the video.

The punch fractured the woman's face in four places and required that her jaw be wired shut.

Oklahoma's president David Boren and Bob Stoops both watched this video and kept Joe Mixon on scholarship. After watching this video I think that's a completely indefensible position.

Seriously, I have no idea how a grown man can watch this and decide he still wants the person on this video on scholarship representing his university.

Now we all know why Oklahoma fought the release of this video so aggressively.

Oklahoma should be ashamed of itself.

So should all of us that it takes a video to bring home how heinous the act was. That's why I've been writing that Mixon shouldn't be playing for Oklahoma for several years now.

As this video circulates there should be legitimate questions asked about how Bob Stoops and David Boren keep their jobs.
