TimTheTatman Breaks 100,000 Live Viewers In His Youtube Debut

Popular Twitch streamer TimTheTatman agreed to a partnership with YouTube Gaming earlier this week, and he just lit it up in his debut. The bald sensation's 7 million Twitch followers apparently travel cross-platform well, as Tim managed 100,000 live viewers in his first hour. Mind-boggling.

Fellow recently signed YouTube streamer, Courage JD gave Tim his props over Twitter:

Not many events outside of major sports can draw over 100,000 unique viewers at one time -- especially one that involves grown men watching another grown man play video games. I personally checked in to see how it would go, and I was shocked to see this level of support. Within minutes, TimTheTatman received a $1,500 donation and tens of thousands over the next half hour.

Why anyone would donate a mortgage payment to a multimillionaire gamer who absolutely has more money than them is beyond me, but it happens. Often. What's clear is that regardless of how anyone feels about recording yourself playing video games for money, it's the future of entertainment.

These Twitch and YouTube communities are suddenly the place to be and a hub for cash. TimTheTatman is continuing a movement started by Dr. Disrespect's Twitch Ban that returns YouTube as king of the internet. We witnessed nerdy history this morning.

P.S. Please don't donate your weekly check if you stumble across his new channel. Tim made over $200,000/month last year.
