Will Zalatoris Earns Himself And His Caddie A New Car With Hole-In-One At Genesis Invitational

While every hole-in-one is special, they may be a little less special when you are a former Top 10 player in the world like Will Zalatoris. But his ace during the second round of the Genesis Invitational will certainly be a shot he remembers forever.

Well, maybe not the shot itself, but certainly the two things that came with it.

Zalatoris' perfect shot came on the 184-yard Par 3 14th hole at Riviera on Friday. After the ball perfectly fell into the hole, the former Wake Forest star and his caddie celebrated in a big way, and rightfully so. With the ace, he earned both of them each a brand-new car.

Zalatoris received a 2024 Genesis GV80 while his caddie, Joel Stock, will take home a 2024 Genesis Electrified GV70. Those two cars value at around $120,000 combined; not too shabby.

Now the question becomes about what the drink situation in the clubhouse looks like. As per golf tradition, Zalatoris now owes everyone a free drink. I'm going to guess that a cocktail at Riviera Country Club isn't exactly the best bang-for-your-buck, but he can afford it, he's managed to earn over $14 million in his short PGA Tour career already.

I'm sure there are a few players out there who will hold Zalatoris to that free drink, which you have to respect the hell out of.
