White Sox's Tommy Pham To Brewers Catcher: 'I'm never starting anything, but I'll be prepared to finish it'

Tommy Pham, an outfielder for the Chicago White Sox, blew a fuse in the eighth inning of Sunday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers. He started a beef with Brewers catcher William Contreras after Pham was thrown out at home.

The fiery Pham took off from third and crashed into Contreras as the throw to the plate arrived early. Pham seemingly knew that he had no shot at the play.

The 36-year-old failed to tie the score, with the White Sox down, 4-3. Contreras started jawing at Pham, prompting the White Sox player to get testy, demanding teammates step in and hold him back.

After the game, Pham shared that he was ready to finish the fight he started with the Brewers catcher. Pham told the media that he's got some fighting techniques up his sleeve, should a player ever bark back at him (even if Pham was responsible for the spat).

"I'm nailed out at home by a mile, I'm going to the dugout and I hear the tough guy with all the 'hoo-rah' s**t," Pham said after the game, speaking to reporters.

"I'm never starting anything, but I'll be prepared to finish it. There's a reason I do all kinds of fighting in the offseason. Because I'm prepared to f**k somebody up."

Contreras dodged Pham's attempt to start a fight, walking away satisfied by Milwaukee's 6-3 win.

"I wasn't really paying attention to what he had to say," Contreras responded, answering questions about Pham's crash at the plate. "I was just excited about the play and went back to the dugout."
