Vikings Wideout Jordan Addison Found Asleep Behind Wheel, Arrested Near LAX on Suspicion of DUI

It's another case of a millionaire athlete who skipped ordering an Uber.

Second-year Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was arrested near the LAX airport in El Segundo, Calif. on Friday night after being found by CHP sleeping in his car.

California Highway Patrol officers were requested near Los Angeles International Airport after Addison's white Rolls-Royce was found blocking lanes, and the receiver was found sleeping behind the wheel.

Addison was arrested Friday evening around 11:36 p.m. (PDT) on suspicion of driving under the influence and released shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday morning.

The Vikings released a statement, via the Southern California News Group.

"We are aware of Jordan Addison’s arrest this past Friday and are currently gathering more information regarding the incident," the Vikings' statement read.

The emerging Vikings wide receiver is rapidly accumulating a history of reckless driving, comparable to that of the Georgia Bulldogs.

In July 2023, Minnesota State Police cited Addison for reckless driving after he traveled 140 mph in a 55-mph zone in his Lamborghini Urus.

Addison was selected in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He had won the Fred Biletknikoff award in college and led an elite career at Pittsburgh before joining Caleb Williams at USC in his final year. The 5-foot-11 receiver played a memorable rookie campaign for the Vikings, tallying 70 catches for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns.
