USWNT Player Korbin Albert Gets Booed Despite Wearing Pride Uniform

A couple of months ago, there was a kerfuffle over US Women's National Team player Korbin Albert sharing a video that featured a pastor espousing some talking points that the LGBTQ community wouldn't be super fond of.

She apologized for it.

But, at her next match, Albert was booed when she subbed in, which was ridiculous, but at least it was the end of the story.

Wrong.

According to Daily Mail, Albert heard boo birds once again. This time, it was on Saturday night when she took the field in Team USA's match against South Korea in Colorado… even though she was wearing one of the team's uniforms with Pride flag-inspired rainbow numbers.

There really is no satisfying the wokes, is there?

As you're no doubt aware — if you're not, you must not have been on social media lately — Saturday is the first day of Pride Month.

That's why Team USA had the rainbow numbers on their jerseys, and you'd think those fans would be happy that Albert was wearing hers.

She was acknowledging the LGBTQ community, as it were…

If your outlook was that what Albert shared earlier this year was wrong, then wouldn't that be applause-worthy? Wasn't that the outcome they were looking for?

Apparently not.

We've seen it many times. They hate Korbin Albert because at some point she said something that they didn't agree with. Even when she does something they'd be all for — like apologizing or wearing the special jersey — she still gets booed.

It sure seems like the people who were mad about Albert's show of "intolerance" get a sadistic pleasure out of trying to ruin a 20-year-old woman's experience representing her country, and they certainly aren't tolerant of her beliefs.

It's never about the ideology itself. It's always about making people bend the knee to woke demands and then piling more on top of that, even after they comply. It's a power dynamic.

Unfortunately, for Korbin Albert, this will likely not be the last time she hears boos when she enters a match.

Which is a real shame, because she certainly doesn't deserve it.
