UFC Cameo From Mark Zuckerberg Sparks Major 'WTFs' From Social Media
Meta / Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg somehow got his foot in the door with major MMA stars, and UFC fans are mixed with seeing the tech CEO front and center at marquee fights.
Billionaire Mark Zuckerberg Fails To Blend In At UFC 298
Zuck threw viewers in for a surprise Saturday night, appearing at the Alexander Volkonovski versus Ilia Topuria fight at UFC 298 in Anaheim, Calif. Zuckerberg tried fitting in with the more brawny, menacing crowd of MMA fighters but stood out like an external hard drive jabbed into a PC tower.

While Zuck's interest in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has landed him close to guys like Volk or Israel Adesanya, the 39-year-old billionaire still can't seem to fit in — appearing ‘alien-like’ ringside, brilliantly mentioned in Sunday's Screencaps (via OutKick's Sean Joseph).
Social media reactions to Zuck's feeble attempts to appear normal roasted the man for throwing the energy levels off in Volk's corner.
Did it contribute to Volk's major upset loss … who's to say? Israel Adesanya's fate since training with Zuckerberg also begs questions about a possible ‘Zuck Curse.’
While it's great to see Mark Zuckerberg dip his toe into the MMA community, there's still something terribly off about watching this guy try to act exhilarated after a lifetime of being such a reticent character.
Heck, Zuck's wife — Priscilla Chan — appeared much more comfortable at the event than the trained BJJ blue belt. At this point, the only way Zuckerberg can redeem himself for such awkward behavior is to fight Elon Musk … time to make it happen.
To be fair, it's good to see Zuck shamelessly embrace his inner bro.
