Tyreek Hill Teases Odell Beckham Jr. 'To Miami Confirmed’ On Snapchat
Will we see Odell Beckham Jr. in a Miami Dolphins uniform this fall? According to Tyreek Hill, it's a done deal.
The Dolphins star wide receiver posted a photo with Beckham on his Snapchat story Thursday, writing, "OBJ to Miami confirmed."
Of course, it's entirely possible that Hill is trolling or simply wishful thinking. There has not been any official word from the team, but, after OBJ visited Miami last month, head coach Mike McDaniel said the team made an offer to the three-time Pro Bowler.
"Things went great with him," McDaniel said. "We did make him an offer and business takes time, especially with players like Odell, who's had a phenomenal career and still has really good football in front of him and has options. I think those conversations will be ongoing. We'll see where they go."
Beckham sat out the entire 2022 season after suffering an ACL tear, but he signed a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens last season. In 2023, the 31-year-old had 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns.
While the Dolphins have a couple of star receivers in Hill and Jaylen Waddle, they could certainly use some depth at the position. Hill and Waddle combined for more than 2,800 receiving yards last season, but no other wide receiver on the team even topped 300 yards.
If Hill's scoop is accurate, the Dolphins will be Beckham's fifth team. He previously played for the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns and Los Angeles Chargers before joining the Ravens last year.
