Tiger Woods Shows Off Gnarly Leg Scar For First Time Since 2021 Car Crash

Tiger Woods followed his son, Charlie, in support as the U.S. Junior Amateur got underway on Monday at Oakland Hills Country Club in Michigan. While Woods has been walking with and even caddying for Charlie on occasion over recent years, the takeaway from this particular instance had everything to do with the elder Woods' attire that revealed the ginormous scar on his right leg.

Woods has been seen out in public wearing shorts since his single-car crash in 2021, but has always worn a leg sleeve on his surgically repaired right leg. On Monday, he decided to ditch the leg sleeve, revealing to the world the scar on his right leg.

The 15-time major winner has spoken openly in the past about how he feared he could have potentially lost his right leg following the accident, and based on the scar, it paints a grim picture of just how mangled the leg was.

The scar legitimately runs from the base of his knee to the top of his ankle. This is something you'd see in some sort of horror movie, not on the body of a human who has made not one, but two cuts in the Masters since picking up the scar.

It wasn't just the outside of Woods' leg that took the brunt of the damage, another photo revealed another sizable scar on the inside portion of his right leg.

Woods missed the cut at last week's Open Championship and announced afterward that we won't be seeing him play competitive golf again until the Hero World Challenge, the tournament he hosts in the Bahamas each year, set for December.
