The Rock Tells Will Cain Why He's Not Endorsing Joe Biden Again

The Rock is telling Joe Biden to know his role and, unfortunately for the 81-year-old president, that doesn't include the wrestler's vote this time around.

In an exclusive interview with Fox & Friends host Will Cain, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson broke out of kayfabe (the term for being in wrestling character) and got real about the upcoming Presidential election.

THE ROCK HAS REGRET FOR 2020 BIDEN ENDORSEMENT

"Am I happy with the state of America right now? That answer is no," The WWE Hall of Famer who will return to the ring this week at WrestleMania 40 began.

"Do I believe we're going to get better? I believe in that - I'm an optimistic guy and I believe we can get better," The Rock continued.

Sorry Joe, you're out this time around.

"The endorsement that I made years ago of Biden was one that I thought was the best decision for me at the time. And I thought back then when we talked about it - "Hey, I'm in this position where I have some influence… ' And I felt like back then that it was my job to exercise my influence and share and say this is who I am going to endorse."

"Am I going to do that again this year? That answer's no," Johnson added.

RING THE BELL, IT'S OVER

Something tells me that The Rock's not the only one who feels some sort of regret about their previous vote. It's funny how clarity all of a sudden can be seen once all the talking points and the media hype and the hysteria fade away and one asks themselves "Am I better off now than I was 4 years ago? And do I believe I'll be better off in four years knowing what I know now?" Sure, some people might still vote for Biden - but at his age and a clear decline in mental capacity, they also have to deeply consider that Kamala Harris may very well take over the role at some point during the tenure in what may be the most important Vice President candidate of all time.

But does that mean that the former wrestler-turned-actor-turned wrestler would like the job himself?

"As of now, no [I will no be running for President,' Johnson said after he and Cain had a sip of his Teremana tequila.

"It's not my intention, WIll. I'm not a politician, I'm not into politics - I care deeply about my country, I'm a patriot and I believe you are as well. Right now my desire and priorities are my babies - and school drop-offs and school pick-ups and things like that are important to me. I also have a 22-year-old who I like to say we grew up together and I know what it's like from being in the business at that time as a full time professional wrestler and being on the road over 300 dates a year and I missed a lot of my daughter growing up."

THE ROCK WILL NOT RUN THIS YEAR FOR PRESIDENT

"I understand that when you become President all that time [to spend with your family] goes away and I don't want that to go away. And I also feel that in the spirit of bringing people together and bringing our country together, I don't know if that's the right move at this point."

"As of now?" Cain followed up.

"As of now," Johnson responded.

Well, at least The Rock has the political skill of beating around the bush and ‘saying something while also not saying anything’ perfectly mastered! He'd fit in just fine in DC!

Speaking of The Rock's ability to answer or deflect questions, I think the one thing we can all agree on is that the world these days absolutely needs The Rock to run for office simply so we can get some amazing promos out of it.

Imagine Johnson on the campaign trail and being asked about foreign policy and China or Iran, and he went into full WWE Rock mode? It'd be hilariously amazing. "Shut your damn mouth and sit down," suddenly has a cooler ring to it when The Rock's delivering it to a third world dictator.

I mean just look at this LEGENDARY post-match rant once WWE Monday Night Raw went off the air last week. Wrestling is still real to The Rock, just like our voting consequences are still real to all of us.
