Texas A&M Basketball Player Appears To Mock Nebraska Star: VIDEO
Texas A&M player Solomon Washington apparently doesn't know it's not wise to poke the bear.
The Aggies face Nebraska Friday in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, and the Cornhuskers have one of the most exciting players in America in Keisei Tominaga.
The electric guard is known for being able to score from all over the court and having some pretty hilarious celebrations. The Nebraska star is an absolute menace in the college basketball world.
Well, Washington tried to channel his celebration skills during practice, and it was caught on film. Check it out below.
Did a Texas A&M player mock Keisei Tominaga?
Was this just Washington having some fun or was he mocking one of the best players in America? It's hard to stay for sure, and it really doesn't matter.
All that matters is people interpreted it as mocking, and that's not good. It's a classic karma setup.
Never give a team bulletin board material. Don't do it. There's literally no upside. Again, was Washington just joking around or was it legit mocking? I have no idea, and nobody else does either.
All we know for sure is Nebraska fans definitely believe he was mocking the team's best player, and they're not happy about it. Now, the clip is going viral.
If this isn't bulletin board material for Nebraska and Keisei Tominaga, then I don't know what is.
The good news for fans is the score will be settled Friday night in what should be a great 8/9 matchup. It's worth tuning in just for Tominaga, but now there's a little extra fuel for the fire. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
