Terrell Davis' Legal Team Drops Video Of Hall of Famer's 'Embarrassing' Handcuffing On United Airlines Flight

Hall of Fame NFL running back Terrell Davis was involved in an airplane incident on July 13, and now we finally have footage of the frustrating scene for Davis.

The Broncos icon was confronted by six law enforcement agents and removed from the flight in handcuffs.

Courtesy of Davis' legal team, led by attorney Parker Stinar, the footage of Davis' arrest was released, prompting questions over the ex-Denver Broncos' removal.

Davis has been outspoken regarding his frustrations, calling the scene ‘embarrassing’ after the 51-year-old Davis was restrained in front of passengers, seemingly over a misunderstanding.

On a flight from Denver to California (Orange County), Davis shared that he tapped a flight attendant to grab their attention after his son requested a cup of ice. The attendant shouted, "Don't hit me," and when the flight arrived, passengers were instructed to remain seated. Authorities then entered the plane, handcuffing and removing Davis.

"I was stripped of my dignity," Davis shared, regarding the incident on the United Airlines flight. Davis has been critical of the airline for ‘wrongly’ dragging him off their flight to John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana.

"The agent walks up to me, and he leans over and whispers, 'Don't fight it,' and he put the cuffs on me," Davis shared, joining an interview with CBS Mornings.

Davis was described as compliant and released shortly after being apprehended.

Davis released a statement after his arrest, which read, in part:

"During questioning, it was rightfully determined by the agents that this flight attendant was inaccurate in his accusations and the agents profusely apologized even offering to support me and my family in any way possible.

"I have yet to hear anything from United Airlines. The traumatizing experience of my two sons, my daughter, and my wife watching me being placed in handcuffs without due process or any explanation cannot be undone."

United Airlines followed up Davis's backlash with a statement, apologizing to the Broncos icon and two-time Super Bowl champ for the scene.

"This is clearly not the kind of travel experience we strive to provide, and we have reached out to Mr. Davis’s team to apologize," United responded.
