White humorously mentioned the hassle of cutting his vacation short in Italy with his wife to fly to Milwaukee and introduce Trump. Crowds at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee eagerly awaited Trump's speech — his first public address since his assassination attempt in Butler, PA. on Saturday.

"This man is the toughest, most resilient human being that I've ever seen in my life," White said in his speech on Thursday.

White said his support for Trump rests in the former president's fight for the American Dream.

"I know he's running for I'm living the American Dream, and I know the American Dream is very real. This is the last real land of opportunity," White added.

UFC fighters and the MMA community spoke out in support of Trump after the assassination attempt.

White continued, "I know I'm going to choose strength and security. I know I'm going to choose real American leadership and a real American bada**. … America needs a strong leader, and the world needs a strong America."

Social media reacted to Dana White's speech about Trump, applauding the UFC chief for a no-bull agenda.

"How good was Dana?" Trump asked the crowd in his speech. "He was my first, second and third choice."
