Skier Brutally Crushed By Chairlift In Wild Video
One skier learned the hard way that doing stunts near chairlifts is a recipe for disaster.
Skier Ivan Jones was carving up some powder at the Lake Louise Ski Resort in Alberta when the situation descended into chaos, according to TMZ.
Jones attempted to do some kind of flip off a small jump location, and it ended in absolute disaster. A chairlift that was passing by rocked his world and lit him up like a Christmas tree.

Skier crushed by chairlift.
Somehow, Jones appeared to walk away from the situation without being seriously hurt. TMZ reported the skier "left with just a few bumps and bruises."
He should have immediately gone out and bought some lottery tickets because he's damn lucky he didn't break his neck when he fell.
Sometimes, it's simply better to be lucky than good, and surviving that situation with just a couple of bruises is the definition of being lucky.
This is why some of us prefer to stick to more traditional sports like basketball and football. When we're really feeling like we need a shot of adrenaline, we'll break out the paintball guns.
You know what you won't see a lot of people do? Attempt to do a flip while skiing in the general area that a chairlift is passing by.
Yet, I can tell from looking at Ivan Jones' Instagram that the young man is an adrenaline junkie. Major respect.
Let's just hope he keeps his head on a swivel a bit more next time and avoids another disaster. Let me know your thoughts on the stunning situation at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
