Simone Biles: If You Don't Like My Husband, ‘Respectfully, F*** Off’

Simone Biles is sick and tired of everyone hating on her husband.

The world's most decorated gymnast posted a rant to her Instagram Story on Sunday directed toward the "blatantly disrespectful" people making jokes about her hubby, Chicago Bears defensive back Jonathan Owens.

"I’m going to quickly address this, the joke was never a joke!" Biles wrote. "Y’all are blatantly being disrespectful to my relationship & my husband. So I’m gonna go ahead and say this one time. Respectfully, f–k off.

"[And] if you keep commenting or tweeting at me I’m just going to block you. Simple as that. And no I don’t need to touch grass or whatever [the f–k] y’all suggest…. @ everyone else that supports us we love y’all so much."

Owens reposted his wife's statement on his Instagram Stories and wrote, "If y’all gone support, support!!! If not respectfully keep scrolling. Cause being fake mad about people y’all don’t know from a can of paint is weirdo behavior."

If you're wildly confused right now, allow me to provide some context: In December, Owens — who is now on his fourth team since entering the league in 2018 — appeared on The Pivot Podcast. There, he said he "didn't know" who Biles was when she first messaged him on the Raya dating app in 2020 and that he was actually "the catch" in the relationship.

Pretty wild thing for an undrafted NFL player to say about a woman who has 37 Olympic and World Championship medals. Her fans thought so, too. Hence, the "disrespect" on social media.

Biles came to his defense during an April appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, explaining that "he never said I wasn’t a catch." She also said she "didn’t think anything of" that interview.

"He said he was a catch because he is," she said. "I’ve never met a man like him. A lot of people that meet him are like, ‘Oh my gosh. I want a man like that, like Jonathan.'"

A video recently went viral of Owens cheering on his wife at the 2024 Core Hydration Gymnastics Classic in Connecticut.

Next up, she'll compete in the Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships — set for May 30-June 2 in Fort Worth, Texas — before the USA Gymnastics national teams are selected to compete at the U.S. Olympic trials in June.

Biles plans to compete in the Paris Olympics this summer.
