Shedeur Sanders Makes Completely Delusional Comment About Colorado: VIDEO
Shedeur Sanders doesn't seem to be living in reality.
Shedeur and his dad Deion went 4-8 in their first season in Boulder, and the 2023 campaign turned into a complete nightmare by the time it was over.
Colorado finished an abysmal 1-8 in the team's final nine games after a 3-0 start. It was a collapse that was nothing short of shocking. Nobody really takes the Buffaloes seriously at this point, and they're definitely not feared.
Deion Sanders and his squad were picked 11th in the Big 12 media preseason. Just don't tell that to Shedeur.
Shedeur Sanders thinks Colorado is every team's "Super Bowl."
Despite people not having much faith in Colorado, the team's starting QB thinks that every opponent they face view the Buffs as the biggest game of the year.
"I know we're everybody Super Bowl," the dual-threat QB told the media Wednesday during Big 12 media days.
Yes, a team that won four games last season is now the prime matchup for every team it faces. You can watch his comments below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
This level of delusion is honestly incredible. I can't stress this enough. The Buffaloes won four games last year. A total of four!
Now, Shedeur Sanders is out here acting like the Buffaloes are Alabama, Georgia or Ohio State. The Buffaloes aren't a historical powerhouse and they haven't been good in a very long time.
Nobody looks at what will likely be a mediocre team and thinks, "This is our Super Bowl."
Colorado plays Nebraska in its second game of the season. Does Sanders really think there's no bigger game for the Cornhuskers in the Big Ten? Give me a break. His claim is simply not rooted in reality. Let me know if you agree at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
