Saints Breakout WR Chris Olave Arrested For Reckless Driving Late Monday

New Orleans wideout Chris Olave was arrested late Monday for reckless driving, reportedly traveling 70 in a 35-mph zone in Kenner, La. He faces a misdemeanor charge for the reckless speeding.

Olave reportedly cooperated along the arrest process and is due for immediate release at Kenner City Jail, according to ESPN's Katherine Terrell.

The New Orleans Saints have not commented on the player's arrest.

Olave, 23, was a first-round pick for New Orleans in 2022 and primed to be the top receiving target alongside Michael Thomas and Rashid Shaheed.

Olave has 39 catches for 471 yards and one touchdown in seven games this season.

The Saints (3-4) take on the Indianapolis Colts (3-4) on Sunday.

Kansas City Chiefs wideout Justyn Ross was also arrested on Monday, less than a day since his team defeated the Chargers.
