Russell Wilson Appears To Be In Great Shape Ahead Of Season Starting: VIDEO

Russell Wilson looks ready to roll with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Wilson is coming off a wild year with the Broncos that saw him getting benched, despite throwing for 26 touchdowns and 3,070 yards.

Denver cut him loose, and the former Wisconsin QB and Super Bowl champion signed with the Steelers. He needed a fresh start, and got it with his third NFL team.

He also looks like he's in great shape.

Russell Wilson puts boxing skills on display.

Wilson recently posted a video of himself getting some boxing work in, and there's no question he appears to be in very solid shape ahead of the season starting.

Boxing is also a great way to build stamina. That shouldn't be an issue for Wilson, but it never hurts to sharpen your energy up.

There's no question Russell Wilson is looking to give his career a big boost now that he's with the Steelers. Justin Fields is also in the QB room, but the expectation is that he'll be watching and holding a clipboard on the sideline.

It should be the Russell Wilson show in Pittsburgh. After two bizarre seasons with the Broncos, it's time for him to try to get back to his old ways.

At a minimum, it appears the talented QB is in great shape and able to throw some quick punches.

Time will tell if Wilson can get the job done with the Steelers, but he certainly seems to be putting in the work. Let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
