Hilarious Polite Heckler At Pacers Game Had Viewers Begging TNT To Turn Off Microphones
We may have found ourselves the most polite heckler of all time.
If you watched the Indiana Pacers beat the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 6 on Thursday, you definitely heard him — because the TNT microphones picked up every word. This mystery Pacers fan spent the entire game loudly chirping mild insults at Bucks' players.
And he had some real zingers:
Portis, your eyes are slightly too big for your head!
Lillard, your tattoos are only decent!
Gallinari, you need a haircut!
Middleton, I respect your game, but I hope you miss!
Talk about Hoosier hospitality! No middle fingers, vulgar language or throwing stuff onto the court — just some good, wholesome heckling!
This guy is reminiscent of the Hunter Pence sign trend that swept Major League Baseball stadiums 10 years ago. Because Pence is just a super likable dude, opposing fans had trouble finding anything negative to say about him.
So they resorted to the most vanilla insults they could muster.
Hunter Pence can't parallel park. Hunter Pence eats pizza with a fork. Hunter Pence loves making Build-a-Bears. Hunter Pence wears Sketchers Shape-ups. Hunter Pence thinks ‘Game of Thrones’ is just OK.
You get the idea.
But apparently, not all TNT viewers appreciated the Pacers fan's good-natured jeering. In fact, tons of wildly annoyed viewers were begging for TNT to mute the microphone.
Unfortunately for all these party poopers, Indiana walloped Milwaukee 120-98 to advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
That means at least two more playoff games at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indy. And I hope the heckler guy already bought his tickets.
