Oklahoma, Florida State Set To Cap An Amazing NCAA Softball Tournament

Oklahoma and Florida State are set to face off in Game 3 of a three-game series for the Women's College World Series. After the Sooners evened things up at 1-1 on Wednesday night, Thursday marks the finale, which will cap off an amazing NCAA softball tournament.

For the first time in history, both teams playing for the national title overcame a first-round loss in Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma dropped a 3-4 loss in eight innings to James Madison, while Florida State lost 0-4 against UCLA in the opening game. The two squads then went on a four-game win streak to make it to the national championship. Now we get to see how the entertaining postseason ends.

In the first matchup, the Seminoles handed the Sooners a lopsided 8-4 loss that began with FSU scoring seven uncontested runs. Then on Wednesday, Oklahoma got their revenge. After an early 2-0 deficit, they went on to score six unanswered runs of their own, for a final score of 6-2.

So how will it end? That's anyone's guess, but who doesn't love a good "for all the marbles" final?

Here's what you need to know about Thursday night's game:

Time: 3 p.m. ET (2 p.m. CT)

Place: Porter ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City

TV: ESPN

Stream: Watch ESPN, Hulu + Live TV

I have thoroughly enjoyed watching the Women's College World Series this year, and I think you will too. Who gets the bragging rights, the Big 12 or the ACC?
