Obama Makes Appearance At Team USA Basketball's Exhibition Match Against Canada

LeBron James, Stephen Curry and the rest of the Team USA roster took a picture with Obama during his appearance in Las Vegas on Wednesday. James hopes to add another Olympic gold medal, next to his NBA in-season tournament trophy.

South Carolina coach Dawn Staley was among the prominent figures in attendance on Wednesday. Staley was seen taking a photo with Obama.

Obama also made an appearance at USA Basketball’s 50th anniversary party on Tuesday. "I’m pretty confident that they’re going to be bringing back the gold and representing us the way we should be represented around the world," Obama said (via USA Today).

Team USA Basketball's showcase returns on Monday with a match against Australia. Next, the Americans face off against Serbia, South Sudan and Germany. The four-time defending Olympic champs look to extend their streak.
