Nick Saban As Kamala Harris' VP? He's Got The Same Odds As Oprah, And The Internet Reacts

Is Nick Saban headed to the White House?

The political situation for the 2024 presidential election was thrown into chaos Sunday when President Joe Biden decided to quit the race, and all signs point to Kamala Harris being the nominee.

The Vice President has the complete support of Biden and many other powerful leaders. Next up is figuring out who will be her VP.

Is the former Alabama Crimson Tide coach a possibility?

Internet reacts to Nick Saban being listed in Kamala Harris' VP odds

An offshore book lists Nick Saban at 250/1 to be the VP on the Democrat ticket. Yes, the seven-time national champion is listed as a potential VP pick for the 2024 election. He's got the same odds as Oprah Winfrey, but both trail Mark Cuban and George Clooney who are listed at 100/1.

Naturally, the internet had a ton of reactions to seeing the odds. Check out some below, and let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com:

This, obviously, will never actually happen, but it's fascinating to imagine. Could Nick Saban being the VP actually swing some states? He's the most famous man in all of college sports. Whether you hate or love Alabama, you can't deny the respect Saban demands.

The former Crimson Tide coach has seven national titles. When you think of college football, you think of Nick Saban. He's also a fountain of knowledge, great advice and fun quotes.

I can't tell you how many times I've sent the video below to my now-fiancee during the football season.

The biggest problem is that Saban doesn't check any of the boxes the snowflake brigade demands in current liberal politics.

He's not woke, he will chew people out without a second of hesitation, believes in the meritocracy and he's an old white man. Not exactly ideal for the current Democrat party and significant parts of the base.

Do you think Nick Saban would make a great VP? Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com. It's never going to happen, but that doesn't mean we can't let our imaginations run wild.
