The NBA's New Orleans Pelicans found a special reason to celebrate Sunday's Super Bowl LVIII win by the Chiefs.
New Orleans rallied around starting center Jonas Valaciunas, who shares a shocking facial likeness to Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. On Sunday night, Pelicans players jokingly congratulated Valanciunas, as tribute to Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Valanciunas gladly took in all the cheers.
New Orleans' X account followed the gag by posting a photo of Jonas warming up for Monday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies, with the caption, "won the Super Bowl last night and already back to work."
In odd ways, it pays to be Travis Kelce's doppelgänger. But sadly, the younger, 31, and bigger (6-foot-10) version of Kelce misses out on a third Super Bowl win … and dating the world's biggest pop star.
Valanciunas may not have the three Super Bowl wins like Travis Kelce. With an estimated $135 million in career earnings, Valanciunas also isn't in a rush to swap careers with his NFL twin.
