NC State Big Man D.J. Burns Is Gaining Attention From NFL Teams
Can a 6-foot-9, 275 lbs. basketball sensation transition to the NFL as an offensive lineman? The league is certainly curious.
No. 11 seed North Carolina State has been the story of March Madness. The 'little team that could' has a big man in the paint named D.J. Burns.
With swift feet and a massive frame, Burns' athleticism is gaining the attention it deserves.
The footwork is simply that pretty.

According to NFL insider Peter Schrager, NFL league execs have expressed interest in watching Burns show off his feet as a lineman, if he ever chose to host a pro day.
Schrager reported Monday: "Spoke to and texted multiple scouts/GMs about NC State big man DJ Burns as an NFL OT prospect over the last 24 hours. He is listed at 6’9, but probably is 6’7. A+ footwork. Would get big turnout & potentially $ if he participated in a Pro Day/workout the week after the Final 4."
Built like a tank with the toes of a ballerina, D.J. Burns moves in a way that every N.C. State is appointment viewing. Just when you expect the Wolfpack star to ease off his growing legend, Burns delivers another star-making performance.
Sunday's 29-point game to eliminate the evil Duke Blue Devils made Burns fans out of many.
And despite leading N.C. State to its first Final Four appearance since ‘83, Burns still has a job to do.
N.C. State takes on the first-seeded Purdue Boilermakers Saturday.
