MMA Fighter Proposes To Girlfriend After Defeat, Gets Rejected

MMA fighter Lukas Bukovaz took two massive L's in front of 20,000 fans over the weekend. And only one of them was in a fight.

Bukovas teamed with Patrik Horvath for a two-on-one event at the Clash of the Stars tournament in the Czech Republic. Despite being massive favorites, Bukovas and Horvath lost their bout in convincing fashion.

Still, for some reason, the pink-haired cage fighter thought this would be the perfect opportunity to drop to one knee and propose to his girlfriend in front of the packed audience. And that went about as well as the fight did.

The woman immediately put her hand over her face in embarrassment — not a great sign during a marriage proposal!

"Based on everything that’s happened, I think probably not," she answered, while the crowd erupted into boos. "I don’t think so."

Bukovaz's girlfriend then went on to explain that he had cheated on her with another woman, which prompted the fighter's trainer to splash her with water from outside the cage. In a clip later posted to his Instagram account, Bukovaz denied the accusation that he'd been unfaithful.

Social media had mixed reactions to the embarrassing viral moment, but most expressed sympathy for the MMA fighter getting humiliated on the public stage.

Talk about taking the double L. Sorry for the guy.

2 losses in 2 mins. Rough for broski.

That is a bad night in anyone's book

Meanwhile, some folks are praising the woman for standing up for herself and not succumbing to the pressure — calling her a "Queen" on Instagram.

Whoever's side you're on, though, we can all agree on one thing: This guy really needs to work on his timing.
