Milwaukee Bucks' Robin Lopez Shreds Jazz Mascot's Sign To Pieces After Getting Ridiculed

Milwaukee Bucks big man Robin Lopez, 35, more than poked the bear on Sunday, facing off against the Utah Jazz, and paid the price with a loss.

Utah Jazz mascot, Jazz Bear, approached Robin with a sign, taunting the veteran for being just a step behind his twin brother, Brook Lopez.

Brook took the night off due to injury. Utah also missed starter Khris Middleton in the 123-108 loss. Jazz Bear wasn't thrilled to settle on Sunday.

"Walked 50 feet from my cave to see my favorite Lopez brother play but have to settle watching [sic] Robin," the Bear's sign read.

Robin pounced on the mascot, grabbing the sign and shredding it to pieces.

Now, to the mascot's credit, Jazz Bear's sign cleverly mimicked the tired traveling fan troupe in sports — where a fan flaunts how far they traveled to watch a star player. It also made a deep dig at Robin Lopez for playing in his brother's shadow.

A bit cruel? Yes, but that's sports. And Lopez retaliated.

RoLo's crime against nature may not just prompt a call from league offices, but perhaps a letter from PETA for harassing a fictional animal.

Robin Lopez alternates between mascot hater and mascot ally.

Strangely enough, Lopez's history with mascots jumps between positive and negative.

Robin Lopez previously attacked Indiana Pacers mascot, Boomer. But the big man was later spotted swapping jerseys with San Antonio's own Coyote.

Pick a side, Robin.
