Mayor Apologizes To Jason Kelce, Kylie Kelce For Wild Interaction With Fan

Former NFLer Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie are so beloved by the general public that they received an apology from the mayor of New Jersey after a rabid fan inconvenienced them during a date night.

The Kelces were out in Margate when a female fan asked them for a photo op. The fan was rejected, prompting her to confront Kylie Kelce and spew vicious words at the couple.

"I don't give a f**k who you are, you'll never be allowed in this town again!" the fan threateningly shouted at Kylie.

After the fan's declaration about Margate City—an hour from Philadelphia—and the Kelces, Margate's mayor, Michael Collins, issued a statement apologizing and welcoming the Kelces back for a complimentary date night in the city.

"On behalf of the City of Margate, I'd like to formally apologize to Jason & Kylie Kelce for the experience they had in Margate City over the holiday weekend," Collins posted in a statement Wednesday. "As a father with young children, I know as well as anyone the importance of a date night with your wife and would like to offer a redo date night with dinner on me."

Whether it was the proper response or perhaps trying too hard by the mayor, the fan who started the spat was clearly in the wrong for confronting the Kelces in a manic fashion.

The video drew newfound respect for Kylie Kelce as she towered over her crazed fan, squaring up to the heckler as Jason Kelce watched several feet away and seemingly at ease.

WATCH:

Kylie is heard in the video accusing the fan of being in a drunken stupor during her tirade. According to eyewitnesses, the fan began getting physical, banging on the window of Kelce's vehicle. Understandably, Kylie blocked the photo request during their date night out.

Mrs. Kelce shouted, "I can smell the alcohol on your breath, you're embarrassing yourself."

Surely, the viral moment will be discussed in the next Kelce Bros. podcast, and details will be shared on what set off the wild fan.

Kelce, now a podcaster after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, is regarded as one of the most likable figures to come out of football. Meanwhile, Kylie Kelce is praised simply for being bad*ss.
