Martina Navratilova Fires Back At Reporter Who Called Her 'Transphobic'

A common refrain among the hardcore-left-wing people out there is to name-call anyone who opposes them. Take tennis legend Martina Navritilova, for example.

Navritilova played tennis at the highest level imaginable, so when she says that she believes biological men don't belong in women's sports, she knows what she's talking about.

Of course, her position is also rooted in common sense and logic. That means that to attack her position is futile, which is why opponents seek to attack her personally.

The latest to throw labels on Navritilova is a tennis reporter named Ben Rothenberg. Admittedly, this is the first time I've ever heard his name.

Well, he played the usual "transphobic" card on Navritilova because she advocates for fairness in women's sports. He also added that she's on an "anti-trans" crusade.

The tennis legend didn't take kindly to his name-calling and shut him down with a brilliant comeback. And, keep in mind, Navritilova is mostly on the same side as Rothenberg, politically. She's as left-wing as it gets, except when it comes to the issues surrounding transgender athletes.

This is what's so fascinating about this "feud." Both of these people, politically, agree on just about everything except for one issue. But when it comes to left-wing politics, you're either 100% in or you're 100% out.

Navritilova advocates for Joe Biden and attacks Donald Trump regularly on social media. She has "BLM" in her X (formerly Twitter) bio. Look at a recent post she made about how "left leaning" media won't talk to her and she refuses to go on "right wing" shows.

It's also funny that she says "right wing shows" but "left-leaning media." The left always minimizes its position as if they are the ones closer to the center when that couldn't be further from the truth.

In fact, this whole "feud" perfectly underscores that point. The "right wing" media would be willing to talk to Navritilova despite disagreeing with her position on many issues – except, she declines to speak with them.

However, the "left-leaning" media won't speak to her at all because they disagree with her position on one issue.

It surely seems like one of those deserves the "wing" designation and the other deserves the "leaning" designation. I'll let you all figure out which one is which.
