Luka Doncic Makes Bizarre Comment After Verbally Dominating Fan
Luka Doncic believes a Minnesota fan trash talked so bad that it could lead to a lawsuit.
The Dallas Mavericks handled the Minnesota Timberwolves 124-103 in game five of the series to advance to the NBA Finals against the Celtics.
During the elimination game, Luka was seen trading words with a fan, and at one point, asked, "Who's crying now, mother*cker?"
He was fired up and ready to roll during his 36-point performance to send the Timberwolves packing out of the playoffs.
Luka Doncic explains verbal exchange.
Following the game, Luka addressed the press and was asked about the situation. He told the press that he "could sue" over what was said, but then failed to provide any specifics.

I have to be honest with my reaction here. This is pretty weak from Luka. Very weak. Why even make the comment at all if you're not going to give fans specifics about what was said.
We're all adults. We can hear whatever the fan said. There's literally nothing that could be said that could shock anyone, and I highly doubt anything said at a sporting event could lead to a lawsuit.
Give me a break. This is pro sports we're talking about. Give us the drama. Tell us what was said. Tear into this fan if it's well-deserved. Look, nobody appreciates some solid chirping and trash talking as much as I do. It's a two-way street. If a fan wants to go after a player, give him the green light. However, once that happens, the player has a green light to respond. Not only should the player respond, he should do it in the moment and after the game.
Enter the arena, embrace the carnage and get in the mud with the pigs. Don't tease all the fans, and then not give us the details. Nobody enjoys that!
Now, Luka will get to deal with Boston fans. I'm sure that will be very calm, professional and definitely include anything vulgar. If there's anything we know about Boston fans it's that they're very calm and rational. Should be a fun time. Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
