Luka Doncic Debuts With Lakers And Lives Up To Hype
The rest of the NBA is going to be in big trouble if Luka Doncic continues to play like he did during his Monday night debut with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The former Mavs superstar played his first NBA game since suffering a Christmas Day injury, but delivered in dramatic fashion, dropping 14 points, 5 boards, and 4 assists in just 24 minutes played as he and LeBron look to be on their way to making another NBA super team to ruin the already unwatchable NBA product.
LUKA LOCKS IN A ‘W’ IN FIRST LAKERS GAME
"I (don’t remember) the last time I was nervous before the game. But once I stepped on the court again, it was fun. Just being out there, it felt amazing," Doncic said after the game. Of course, there's nothing to be nervous about considering Laker Luka is about to be part of a team that immediately jumped from +4000 to +1800 to win an NBA Championship after the news was made official.
"Just the amount of cheering there was in the arena was absolutely unbelievable. That was my favorite part, and to play again."
Of course, Lakers fans are happy - they were able to get rid of Anthony Davis for LUKA DONČIĆ in what very well could go down as the worst sports trade in decades.
MAVS FANS KICKED OUT FOR CRITICIZING OWNERSHIP
Meanwhile, over in Demoralized Dallas, you had Mavericks security kick out fans that were booing and chanting for General Manager Nico Harrison to get fired, so they're doing great down there.
As for the rest of us, get ready to be inundated with more LeBron James in our lives if the new Lakers continue on this dominant path, which is the last thing any of us need or want in our lives.
