Los Angeles Chargers Win NFL Schedule Release Day Again With 'Sims' Theme

The Los Angeles Chargers have Jim Harbaugh as their new head coach, and a new top-5 draft pick for fans to get excited about. But one thing's stayed the same; their social media team always nails the NFL schedule release.

In 2023, the Chargers went after the Las Vegas Raiders and their fans with an incredible troll that sent rival fans to a "get a job" Google result.

And if you thought they'd take the 2024 NFL schedule release day off, you'd be sorely mistaken. If anything, they went even harder.

The Chargers official X account posted "should we REALLY make our schedule release video in the sims?" before spelling out "NO" with a series of "yes's." Amazing enough. But the video really does have the other teams as Sims characters, before going after the Raiders again.

The whole thing is a must-watch, but one of the first sequences depicts a sim wearing a Raiders jersey being dressed up in sad clown makeup. The best.

Los Angeles Chargers May Not Always Win On The Field, But They Win Our Hearts

Other highlights include a naked sim running through the streets of New Orleans for the matchup against the Saints, and a John and Jim Harbaugh-themed pillow fight for the game against the Baltimore Ravens.

They even went after Tom Brady and Gronk, showing a retirement home with sims wearing Brady and Gronk jerseys.

The Chargers social media team just doesn't miss.

The team though, often misses. This year's schedule sets up well for Harbaugh's first year, with matchups against the Panthers, Cardinals and Patriots, all some of the NFL's worst teams in 2023.

  • Home against the Las Vegas Raiders
  • At the Carolina Panthers
  • At the Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Home against the Kansas City Chiefs
  • At the Denver Broncos in Week 6
  • At the Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football
  • Home against the New Orleans Saints
  • At the Cleveland Browns
  • Home against the Tennessee Titans
  • Home against the Cincinnati Bengals
  • Home against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football
  • At the Atlanta Falcons
  • At the Kansas City Chiefs
  • Home for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • Home for the Denver Broncos
  • At the New England Patriots
  • At the Las Vegas Raiders

But who cares what happens in the regular season? The Chargers already won schedule release day.
