Los Angeles Chargers Unveil Incredible New Practice Facility

The Los Angeles Chargers may be the obvious second choice in the Los Angeles NFL market, but they certainly won't come second to any NFL team when it comes to team facilities.

The Chargers organization just unveiled their massive new practice facility in El Segundo, just outside of LA, called "The Bolt." And it is absolutely incredible.

Set on 14 acres, the facility has several natural grass practice fields, its own private barbershop and a private club. There's a cafeteria catered by Wolfgang Puck, as well as the expected locker room, weight room and other training facilities.

There's also a beautiful looking team meeting hall that looks nicer than most movie theaters.

Can Los Angeles Chargers Training Facility Actually Help Them?

The NFL isn't quite like other sports, like the NBA or Major League Baseball, where players are recruited with the same level of competition. But if you're a free agent in the NFL and have a choice between the Chargers and other organizations, wouldn't "The Bolt" be a major selling point?

If you have to show up to work to practice, train and relax, who wouldn't want a facility like that to show up to?

The Chargers open the preseason at home against the Seattle Seahawks on August 10, and host the Las Vegas Raiders for their first regular season game on September 8. With new head coach Jim Harbaugh and a massive, impressive new facility, maybe the second Los Angeles team can make some progress in building a better organization.
