Lamar Jackson Compares Nick Wright To Monkey With Massive Nose For Not Ranking Him Top 5 QB

FS1 host Nick Wright recently ranked the top five quarterbacks in the NFL as follows: 1. Patrick Mahomes 2. Josh Allen 3. Joe Burrow 4. C.J. Stroud 5. Caleb Williams/Matthew Stafford.

Wright, noticeably, excluded Lamar Jackson, who won the MVP award last season. He explained the omission by criticizing Jackson for his lack of success in the postseason.

"Every single year, [Lamar has] the worst game of his season in the playoffs," said Wright.

Evidently, the ranking greatly upset Jackson. In response, Jackson posted an image of a monkey with a massively long nose to make fun of Nick Wright's face.

Unusual it is to see a $260 million quarterback insult a relatively unknown pundit's facial features over a quarterback ranking in June.

Then again, Jackson is the most coddled star quarterback in the NFL. Robert Griffin III and Wright's BFF Bomani Jones defend Jackson at all costs, perpetually portraying him as a victim of racial stereotypes.

Consequently, Jackson is relatively immature for a franchise quarterback – look at his tweets during his contract negotiations last season.

You'd never see, say, Josh Allen posting images making fun of his harshest critic. And Allen has many, many more critics than Jackson.

Perhaps Jackson's immaturity has played a role in his failure to overcome adversity in playoff games, in which he's 2-4 and statistically mediocre. That or he's just a choker.

Now, regarding Wright's ranking, let's take it step-by-step"

Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback in the NFL. Let's move on.

He ranks Allen as second. No argument here.

Joe Burrow at No. 3? When healthy, absolutely.

C.J. Stroud was a top-four quarterback last season, his rookie season. Honestly, I'm with Wright on 1-4.

Ranking Caleb Williams, who hasn't played a down of professional football, fourth feels click bait-ish and gas bag-ish. However, Stafford at No. 5 is not nearly as outlandish as Jackson's fans pretend.

While I'd lean toward Jackson over Stafford, the latter did win a Super Bowl and is a more gifted thrower of the football.

Conclusion: despite Nick Wright previously calling me a "doofus" on SiriusXM because I asked him why he willfully ignored that LeBron James had defended the Chinese Communist Party in 2019, his ranking is solid.

As for Jackson, grow up.

Plus, Angel Reese does the whiny "I'm a victim" shtick better than you.
