The Mets' Jose Iglesias, fit with a popular side hustle as a performer, was mic'd up for the intrastate slug-fest and delivered an incredible sequence featuring his viral song, "OMG."

Iglesias turned a double play in the second inning to strand a base runner for the Yanks and broke into song at the request of ESPN's Eduardo Perez.

It's safe to say that Mets players, especially Iglesias, are over their jet lag.

The Mets stole Game 1 on Tuesday despite facing major airline delays, and the Yankees hope to tie the series for New York's ephemeral bragging rights as the best team in the state.

Iglesias has been on the mic several times to perform the song, including at the All-Star festivities in Arlington.

The Mets look to build on their winning record heading into the trade deadline.
