Jets QB Aaron Rodgers, Pro Bowl Wideout Davante Adams Keep Teasing Reunion
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers sounds interested in reuniting with his former elite wideout.
At the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Rodgers spoke glowingly about ex-teammate Davante Adams, currently with the Las Vegas Raiders, and even mentioned wanting to play with Adams "again."
"I love Davante. Can’t wait to play with him … again," Rodgers said on the course on Thursday.

The golf event featured Rodgers, Jason Kelce, Alex Rodriguez, Albert Pujols and NFL quarterback Trevor Lawrence, along with a gathering of celebrities.
Adams also teased a reunion with Rodgers this week. During an appearance on "Up & Adams," Davante admitted that the New York quarterback has been in his ear about re-teaming on the Jets.
"He’s in the ear, that’s for sure, he’s in the ear," Adams shared." "But it’s not as easy. Obviously, we can get together and talk about the old times and the potential of doing this and that.
Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers played together for eight seasons with the Green Bay Packers. Adams tallied 669 receptions and 8,121 receiving yards in that stretch, establishing himself as one of the NFL's top wideouts.
It was a match made in heaven until the Packers traded Adams to the Raiders in 2022, exchanging the six-time Pro bowler for a first-round pick and second-round pick.
As Adams saw the writing on the wall for Rodgers to leave Green Bay, he left the Packers to re-team with college teammate Derek Carr on the Raiders. Adams has been an unhappy camper in Las Vegas after the Raiders dumped Carr last offseason, and the wideout's name has been brought up in trade buzz several times. The 31-year-old receiver still has gas in the tank.
Adams played a full 17 games last season, recording 103 catches, 1,144 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.
