Reporter Grilled For Ridiculous Post About Aaron Judge's Injury Exit: 'Karma'
New York Yankees fans are holding their breath after a terrible pitch during an Aaron Judge at-bat ended with him exiting the game.
As people wait to learn the severity of Judge's left-hand injury, one sportswriter called the early scare "karma."
In the third inning, Baltimore Orioles pitcher Albert Suarez connected with Judge's left hand with a 94-mph pitch. Judge stayed in the game momentarily but was pinch hit for shortly after.

Longtime NFL reporter Jason La Canfora fired off an ill-timed post to throw a dig at the Yankees after Judge left the game.
La Canfora posted on X that the injury scare was "karma" for Yankees right fielder Juan Soto's base running earlier in the game.
Soto had a run-in with Orioles third baseman Jordan Westburg, and baseball fans pounced on Soto for crashing into Westburg.
Westburg exited the game (left hip) after the collision with Soto, and the Yanks star was ruled out for interference to end the first inning.
La Canfora posted: "If Aaron Judge is hurt, he should have a long talk about his jacka** RF about how he runs the bases. Getting pinch hit for now. Oh well. You know what they say about karma ..."
La Canfora piled on the commentary, to the chagrin of Yankees fans.
"Amazing that a base runner found a way not to plow right into the infielder and get called for interference and use it as a chance to cheapshot someone. Make Soto watch it 5000 times like something out of A Clockwork Orange."
Baseball fans weren't convinced by La Canfora's fiery take.
"Dude, let it go. You’re embarrassing yourself!" one of the reactions to La Canfora's post read.

Another user on X posted, "You really thought you had a homerun of a tweet here didn’t you," adding a clown emoji.
Not the best timing for La Canfora … it's only a matter of time before he mulls hitting ‘delete’ on those posts.
The Yankees released an update on Judge's status:
"Aaron Judge left tonight's game in the 4th inning after being hit by a pitch in the left hand. He will undergo imaging at NewYork-Presbyterian this evening and is expected to be seen by Yankees Head Team Physician Dr. Christopher Ahmad."
Judge, a former AL MVP, is facing a potentially devastating injury that could be another major blow not only to the Yankees but also to the league in general.
Superstar Dodgers shortstop Mookie Betts suffered a similar injury during LA's weekend series against the Kansas City Royals.
KC reliever Dan Altavilla hit Betts in the hand with a 98-mph missile, as OutKick's John Simmons reported. Betts suffered a fractured left-hand injury, which is expected to sideline him for the next two months.
Coming into Tuesday's game, the Yankees were beginning to turn the corner regarding their major injuries.
Yankees ace Gerrit Cole is expected to make a long-awaited season debut on Wednesday against the Orioles.
Now, the Yanks have a new star to monitor amid a tight battle for the AL East.
