NBA Hoopers Ivica Zubac, Dario Saric Caught In Ugly Bar Fight Overseas

About time we got some compelling overseas NBA action.

A scuffle broke out in Greece after a Paris Olympic qualifying match ended in heartbreak for Team Croatia.

The bitter defeat spilled over after the game when two Croatian NBA players — Ivica Zubac and Dario Saric — got involved in a street fight against rowdy patrons at a bar in Greece. Zubac, Saric and Team Croatia had been recovering from the loss, 80-69, against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Greek national team.

Footage released by TMZ showed Zubac, the LA Clippers' 7-foot center, first trading words with a patron and getting pulled away by multiple members of the bar's security.

The video was captured early Monday at the Bolivar Beach Bar (located in Alimos, Greece).

Zubac appeared to hold his own; meanwhile, Saric — a 6-foot-10 forward who signed with the Denver Nuggets — attempted to jump in to defend Zubac, only to get caught in a chokehold by one of the security members.

Saric appears to have been knocked out by the chokehold — seen sitting upright in the video after falling to the ground and stumbling once he was brought to his feet.

All that to say, Greece won the fight on and off the court this weekend.

As national basketball teams fight among each other to qualify Paris Games, Team USA is getting the band back together — summoning all the league's "old heads" to help bring another gold medal to Team USA Basketball.
