Indiana Ruthlessly Roasted After Notre Dame Loss

Indiana is getting savagely roasted on social media after losing to Notre Dame.

The Hoosiers lost 27-17 to the Fighting Irish in the opening round of the College Football Playoff Friday night.

Unfortunately for Indiana fans, the Hoosiers were never in control of the game. Marcus Freeman's team did what it wanted for large chunks of the matchup and dominated down the stretch.

Social media roasts Indiana.

Unfortunately for the Hoosiers, the losses didn't stop on the field. The internet is being ruthless with its reactions on social media.

Check out some responses and reactions below, and let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com:

It might be easy to joke about Indiana losing, but how many of the people popping off on social media will be watching their team in the CFP?

Probably not many. The Hoosiers went 11-1 in the regular season and punched a ticket to the first ever 12-team College Football Playoff.

Nobody would have believed you if you said that would happen this past summer. Yet, here we are. The Hoosiers have nothing to apologize for or be ashamed of. Finishing the year 11-2 is awesome, even if many of the reactions are pretty funny.

Now, Notre Dame has a matchup with Georgia. That should be a fun one! Let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
