Indiana Hoops Legend, OutKick Host Dan Dakich Honored At Hall of Fame Ceremony
Congrats, Coach!
Dan Dakich is a fearless show host at OutKick - and also a legend in the world of basketball, particularly in the state of Indiana.
And on Wednesday night, Dakich officially joined the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame as an inductee of the Class of 2024.
From Primo Banquet Hall in Indianapolis, Dakich was honored by his peers, and welcomed into the growing legacy of Indiana basketball.

A man with enough moxie to lock up Michael Jordan in college, Dakich's diligent outlook on the game and life outside the court makes him one of the most intrepid personalities in sports media and beyond.

Dakich shares the ‘no-bull’ attitude that fueled him on his journey; whether you like it or not.
From the moment his father had the shop class install a basketball hoop in his home to his time on the sidelines, coaching at Indiana and at Bowling Green, Dakich's story has been incredible and is now a part of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
Dakich delivered an emotional speech on Wednesday. Coach Dave Pishkur, the most successful coach in Indiana Baseball history, gave a warm welcome to Dakich.
Congratulations, Coach.
