Ice Cube Says He Offered Caitlin Clark $10 Million To Join His Big 3 League

WNBA star Caitlin Clark has had quite the welcoming since bringing the sport the most attention it's ever had.

The Indiana Fever's No. 1 Draft Pick has had to face adversity, resentment, jealousy, the mainstream media's narratives, as well as even hard fouls that were in fact not "just part of the game."

At times, it's gotten so out of hand that some are wondering if it would have been better for Clark to take up rap icon and entrepreneur Ice Cube on his Big 3 basketball league offer that was believed to be for $5 million for one year. Clark's WNBA contract is currently in the $76,000 range.

Turns out, that $5 million was only the HALF story, as Cube revealed on The Dan Patrick Show that his offer escalated to two-years, $10 million for Clark to join the Big 3!

CAITLIN CLARK GAVE UP MILLIONS TO PLAY IN THE WNBA

"It was two years, $5 million a year… We were going to do cool stuff with merch and there was even talk about a percentage in team ownership [for Clark]," Cube told the legendary sportscaster.

The WNBA's No. 1 Draft Pick will make just $76,535 this year with the Indiana Fever; it doesn't get that much better for Clark and her four-year, $338,000 WNBA max contract.

‘BUT WHAT ABOUT HER ENDORSEMENTS?'

Yes, obviously Caitlin Clark is making additional money via sponsorship from the likes of Nike and Panini Sporting Cards… but who's to say that wouldn't have happened anyway if she was part of the Big 3? As I've written in the past, the Big 3 will be broadcast on CBS national platform many times this season - something that Clark's regular Fever games have not been. And her stardom wasn't going anywhere!

The larger issue is that with Ice Cube's new $10 million elevation comes a major insight into how much Caitlin Clark gave up to actually play in the WNBA.

She could have made $10 million for two years of playing a Big 3 season that consists of just TEN WEEKS (plus playoffs). Whereas the WNBA and their pitiful contract has a longer season of 15+ weeks. Yet, she didn't go for it!

I can only imagine their new narrative after realizing that Clark gave up literally millions of dollars to participate in the WNBA - something that many of them have tried to dismiss, but no longer can thanks t this new revelation from Ice Cube! Nothing better than seeing the angry mob scramble as part of their phony outrage.

Speaking of Ice Cube, the Big 3 tipped off this past week and can be seen now on Twitter X and CBS Sports.
