'I Would Love To': UFC Legend Open To Fighting Jake Paul
Jake Paul might have found another MMA legend willing to fight him.
Following boxing victories against former MMA stars Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren, Tito Ortiz is the latest former UFC star to throw his hat into the ring for a shot against Paul.
"I would love to. That’d be amazing. That would be fun. Once again, I have an 0-1 record, he has a record. I still feel like I’m an amateur in boxing. I do a lot in mixed martial arts, but I still feel myself as an amateur but I’m competitive. I’m very competitive," Ortiz explained during an interview with Chris Van Vliet.
Given Ortiz's very limited experience boxing, if a match does come together, it would seem smart to think Paul will be the favorite.
How many times has he been doubted against former MMA stars? He was an underdog against Askren and people thought Woodley would dismantle him.
Yet, the social media star is 3-0 against former pro MMA fighters. Despite all his critics, he keeps winning.
Would Ortiz be the guy to finally humble Paul and end his boxing career? Ortiz is a couple inches taller and weighs roughly 210 pounds.
From a size standpoint, he shouldn't have any issues with Paul, but again, we've seen this story before.
Paul gets in the ring against a much older athlete, and finds a way to win. Ortiz should be careful, but because he could end up being Paul's latest victim!
