Chiefs Heiress Gracie Hunt Defends Harrison Butker, Praises His Christian Faith

Gracie Hunt is a big fan of Harrison Butker.

The Kansas City Chiefs kicker continues to get crushed by the outrage mob over a commencement speech where he promoted his Christian views and suggested marriage and having kids leads to more happiness for men and women.

That last part is what really has the outrage mob fired up. People are falsely claiming Butker believes women shouldn't be allowed to work - something he never said.

"For the ladies present today, congratulations on an amazing accomplishment. You should be proud of all that you have achieved to this point in your young lives. I want to speak directly to you briefly, because I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolical lies told to you. How many of you are sitting here now, about to cross this stage, and are thinking about all the promotions and titles you are going to get in your career? Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world," Buktner said during the speech at Benedictine College moments prior to praising his rockstar wife.

Well, he's now being painted as a major problem, but the Chiefs heiress has his back.

Gracie Hunt defends Harrison Butker.

"Well, I can only speak from my own experience, which is I've had the most incredible mom who had the ability to stay home and be with us as kids growing up. And I understand that there are many women out there who can't make that decision. But for me and my life, I know it was really formative and in shaping me and my siblings into who we are," Hunt said during a Friday morning appearance on Fox News.

She also added that she really respects "Harrison and his Christian faith and what he's accomplished on and off the field."

More and more people continue to voice support for the Chiefs kicker. Chris Jones stepped up to defend him, Lou Holtz spoke up in his defense, Kelly Stafford offered a level-headed reaction, I've voiced support for his freedom of speech multiple times since the situation kicked off and it seems like the tide is definitely turning.

You can agree or disagree with Butker. That's fine. Nobody is telling anyone what to think, but the idea he's a terrible person for promoting his religious and traditional views is insane. This is America, and the outrage must end.
