Georgia Tech Hilariously Trolls Miami Over Infamous Fumble
Georgia Tech's football team woke up and chose violence on social media against Miami.
It's currently the college football off-season, and that means people have plenty of free time on their hands. For the people running Georgia Tech's football X account, that includes cooking up diabolical shots at ACC rivals.
The Yellow Jackets weighed in on a new feature on "NCAA Football 25" that allows players to sim through the end of a game instead of having to take knees.
Georgia Tech used it as an opportunity to destroy the Hurricanes by reminding the world what happened last year against Miami. Check out the hilarious tweet below, and hit me with your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
Georgia Tech trolls Miami.
For anyone who doesn't remember, Miami made one of the dumbest decisions in college football history last year against Georgia Tech.
Despite the fact the Hurricanes had mathematically won the game and could run out the clock, Mario Cristobal opted to keep running the ball for some brain-dead reason.
The Hurricanes ended up fumbling with less than 30 seconds, and the Yellow Jackets pulled off one of the most impressive comebacks fans have ever seen.
It was anarchy at its best and coaching and game management at its worst.
Has Georgia Tech forgotten? Clearly not, and the program is using the upcoming release of "College Football 25" to remind everyone just how stupid Miami was last season. It's such an easy joke to make that it would be foolish to not take the shot. Props to Georgia Tech for giving us all something to laugh about.
