This Will End Homophobia: French Wokes Suspend Soccer Player For Covering LGBTQ Logo

As we've learned from the sports world, nothing stamps out racism and/or homophobia like a logo on a jersey or "Black Lives Matter" splashed across a basketball court.

Now we have French wokes who are furious over Muslim soccer player Mohamed Camara for taping over an "anti-homophobie" logo on his jersey as part of a stamp out homophobia in French soccer campaign.

Friday, Camara was suspended by the French LFP league for four matches.

"The LFP is continuing its major anti-discrimination campaign, with a new section dedicated to the fight against homophobia. Seven weeks after an exceptional mobilisation on a day dedicated to the fight against racism, French professional football is mobilising to fight homophobia in a totally unprecedented way at all Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT stadiums," the league announced on May 17 under a headline proclaiming, "Let's get rid of discrimination and homophobia!"

I'm going to break some news to you, the readers: France isn't solving homophobia, racism and a culture where Israeli flags are initially banned from soccer matches for the safety of the fans.

Still, that didn't stop the virtue signaling from a French soccer community that, frankly, is a mess with protests, homophobic chants, racist chants and riots.

Camara declined the invitation to wear the patch on May 19 due to "religious reasons." Friday, the team dropped the hammer. Four matches. You're done.

"After hearing the player Mohamed Camara, and noting his refusal during the meeting to carry out one or more actions to raise awareness of the fight against homophobia, the Commission decided to impose a four-match suspension," the LFP announced.

BOOM, homophobia has been solved.

Now, let's remember that both sides can make a decision here. Camara came to the conclusion in his brain that he wasn't down with the logo. The team, which has no choice but to get in line with the alphabet mafia's campaigns to handcuff sports organizations, played right into the mafia's hands.

Do it, or else.

French sports minister Amelie Oudea-Castera is furious over Camara and his taped-over logo.

"It is unacceptable behavior," she said during an interview with radio station RTL. "I had the chance to tell the Ligue de Professionnel (LFP) what I thought about it and I think such behavior must be subject to the strongest sanctions against the player and the club which allowed it to happen."

Camara, meanwhile, released a statement saying he used the tape for "religious reasons."

The French sports minister didn't announce what she'd like to see happen to Camara. Surely, it would be tolerant.

Amelie and her fellow suits sure have done a great job to stamp out homophobia in French soccer. In 2019, the LFP was a mess with homophobic chants to the point where the government promised to fine people $25,000 and send them to jail for six months if the government could determine the fan had uttered an insult.

It's 2024.

Now the league and government officials think a logo will get the job done.

Would the homophobic chants end if Camara didn't tape up the logo? We know the answer to that one. The French fans didn't care about jail in 2019. Do you think they care about players wearing two-inch logos that are impossible to read?

Rainbow armbands were introduced to the LFP in 2019 as the government was promising jail time.

Five years later, the league hasn't solved homophobia among its fans. Is it time for more logos? Bigger?

There's no word on if the teams will wear antisemitism logos this season.
