Former NFL Player TJ Ward Goes To War Against Airport TSA: Stop Touching My Junk!
Former NFL safety TJ Ward has had enough of airport TSA agents grabbing his private parts. The eight-year pro — last seen with the Bucs in 2017 — went off on the concept of airport TSA checks after a recent trip that apparently got too handsy for Ward's liking.
On his social media, Ward went off on airport TSA security members, saying they've been halting him for "pat-downs," which, according to his rant, felt closer to groping.
Could we see a #MeToo-level cancelation of airports? Ward's undoubtedly on the frontlines, trading in the pink ****y hat for an NFL helmet.
"The airport is a scam. TSA is a scam," Ward posted on social media Friday. "All these rules for nothing."
He added, "I have a weapon in my draws (sic) every time I fly if you ask that stupid machine. No, those are just my man parts. Now I gotta get SA’d [sexually assaulted].
"Sick of it! Domestic terror and we worried about my ba**sack."
Ward may be facing his toughest opponent yet if he's expecting to bring down the TSA.
Sure, airport security members can get handsy and prompt any airline passenger to call a flag for illegal contact. Still, Ward wants to determine if a string of convenient pat-downs could indicate a major issue among TSA. Apart from being the most annoying part of any airport experience, TSA aims to protect American citizens by being annoyingly thorough.
As for airports, the experiences can be a major hit or miss.
On some trips, arriving at the airport early and knocking back a few brews to cap off a busy week but commence a weekend bender can feel like heaven on earth.
Then there's the opposite: frantically fighting through every DMV-paced screening process and working in haste to barely arrive as the last group boards the airplane. Or worse, going through every hellish screening only to miss a flight.
