Floyd Mayweather Hands Out Stacks of Cash To L.A. Homeless
Boxing champ Floyd Mayweather is using his wallet to help Los Angeles' homeless population more than its progressive mayor.
The forecast for L.A. may have been cold and gloomy on Wednesday, but Mayweather made it rain heavy on a group of homeless guys hanging out near Crypto.com Arena.
As Mayweather walked from the Ritz-Carlton hotel in downtown Los Angeles to The Crypt, he stumbled upon three men he realized could use cash.
The 15-time boxing champ pulled out wads of money and gave $30,000 to the trio, who chose to remain unidentified out of fear fellow homeless Los Angelenos could attack them for the money ... so much for personal safety in one of the nation's most tourist-heavy cities.
"I don't want to show my face, but [Floyd] just gave us $30,000," one of the lucky recipients told TMZ, cautioning to remain anonymous. "We do not want to get robbed. We will go find a motel."

Floyd may have his detractors, but the 47-year-old has proven charitable with his time and resources. In March, Mayweather visited Israel to gift the people resources and boost morale at several events as the nation continues to retaliate to Hamas' terrorist attacks from Oct. 7 onward.
From his cameos with small Israeli businesses to uplifting members at an Israeli Defense Force military base by hosting a barbecue, Mayweather's generous givings have been welcomed by the Israeli people in alarming need.
Mayweather voiced firm support for the people of Israel after Hamas' attacks. He provided immediate help back in October by sending a private jet full of supplies to the Israelis.
From Los Angeles to Tel Aviv, Mayweather has money to blow or give back to the community.
Mayweather's Clippers didn't enjoy a similarly uplifting night, losing to the Mavs, 123-93 — the Clippers' heftiest loss in playoff history.
