Fletcher Cox Buries Deebo Samuel After Bitter Niners Super Bowl Loss: 'Keep Philly Out Your Mouth!'

Philadelphia Eagles DT Fletcher Cox took to social media and hit San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel with a scathing roast in the aftermath of Sunday's win by the Chiefs. Kansas City defeated San Francisco, 25-22.

On Instagram, Cox called out Deebo Samuel and did an impressive job of turning on the venom against his NFC nemesis. In Cox's defense, Samuel casually dissed Philly during media appearances. When asked if the Niners and Eagles had a rivalry, Deebo previously suggested that SF won too many of their matchups to be considered a "rivalry." So the player had it coming.

Cox posted on his Instagram Stories: "Keep the Eagles out cho mouth Boe. I still got some you ain’t got. Ya!! I be holding this one in son!!!!!" The 12-year veteran tagged Samuel in the post, not dodging any heat from the Niners star.

Cox and the Eagles faced Mahomes in the Super Bowl last year to nearly prevent the dynastic trajectory. Philly fell, 38-35, to Kansas City. However, Fletcher Cox still holds a Super Bowl championship (LII) over Deebo.

Deebo Samuel had a quiet outing on the season's biggest stage. The Niners' presumed WR1 tallied six total touches for 41 yards. Excluding Christian McCaffrey, Kyle Shanahan's 49ers offense accrued 226 yards of offense against Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, Travis Kelce and the Chiefs.

McCaffrey totaled 160 yards of offense — 80 rushing and 80 receiving — with a touchdown on Sunday.

While Cox and Samuel should keep the hatred pointed at KC, the NFC opponents have seemingly hit a boiling point with their frustrations with stopping the next NFL dynasty.

Predicting how many years this Chiefs dynasty lasts is difficult to forecast after watching them hoist their third Lombardi in four years. Defeating Miami, Buffalo, Baltimore and San Francisco to win the Super Bowl gives the Chiefs plenty of stock for the coming years.

And not to be entirely morbid but after two losses in the Super Bowl against Mahomes in the last four years, the Niners may never be the team to out-play a Mahomes-led team.

Kansas City holds onto the big red target on their backs but walked away in victory which is all that really matters.

Most teams don't want to win the Super Bowl as much as they prefer to dodge the humiliation of losing on football's greatest stage. The losing team usually gets cracked, good, by their rivals and 49ers players proved no different on Sunday.
