Feminist Group Defends Trans Athletes In Women's Sports, Calls Critics 'White Supremacists'

A feminist group in the United States called the National Organization for Women (NOW) is of the belief that transgender athletes - biological men - should be allowed to compete in women's sports. As for those who are of differing opinion, well, they're white supremacists, according to the group.

NOW has specifically taken issue with the Independent Council on Women's Sports (ICONS) announcing that it will be exclusively funding support for a lawsuit against the NCAA and its regulations allowing male athletes to compete in women's sports. OutKick's Riley Gaines, along with 15 other former and current female college athletes, are among those championing the critical lawsuit regarding transgender athletes.

The feminist group shared an AP news article about the lawsuit on X, formerly Twitter, with its own ridiculous commentary: "Repeat after us: Weaponizing womenhood against other women is white supremacist patriarchy at work. Making people believe there isn't enough space for trans women in sports is white supremacist patriarchy at work."

It's worth noting that NOW's post specifically states "making people believe there isn't enough space for trans women in sports is white supremacists," which is a widely misconstrued idea.

The argument surrounding trans athletes has nothing to do with trans athletes being banned from competing in sports in general, but instead trans athletes competing in women's sports.

NOW is trying to pull a fast one with its absurd commentary and confuse people who take a quick glance at the post.

Critics - or white supremacists in the eyes of the feminist group - came out in droves to slam the moronic post from NOW.

NOW is no small organization with approximately 500,000 members across the United States and was established in 1961 by John F. Kennedy in hopes of providing solutions to female discrimination, social security, and work force.

Fast forward 60 some odd years and the group is now labeling anyone who doesn't believe men should compete in sports, including women's sports, as white supremacists.
